I just want to start off by saying that I didn't know Jennifer very well. Mostly in passing on blogs or Yahoo groups. But I've always admired her. She was one of those authors who handled herself with class in all her dealings. Where I tend to sound like a rambling idiot in emails (heck, I'll prove it here,) she always sounded so *together*. Whatever she said, it made sense. Sounded intelligent and well thought-out. And she was always so gracious to readers.
I remember once when a reader and aspiring author asked her a question, something that could so easily be looked up on the internet, and Jennifer took the time to explain the answer in detail, with links. It was awesome.
I wish I'd known her better. I wish she'd had time to write a lot more books. But she won't be forgotten. This Christmas, I have a lot of younger family members and friends to buy for. Guess what they're getting?
Sets of Jennifer's books.
Thanks, Jennifer, for everything. You will be missed.
All my best,
Larissa
